2017 Annual Employee Appreciation Banquet

 Every year, usually in February, Frontier Basement Systems holds our annual employee appreciation banquet. Employees plus his or her significant other are invited for dinner and an after party. This is a celebration of the year, our achievements, and our commitment. Just as every family does, celebrating one another and taking time to say thank you is important and not always said enough in our daily task. Getting cleaned up, sitting down for a nice dinner, and enjoying one another helps recharge those batteries.  Our commitment is to ourselves, the work we do, and the next year’s vision.  Each employee signs the commitment poster that will hang on display until next year. We believe in home and work life integration, versus home and work life balance. The greater the purpose each employee feels at work and the understanding of his or her value the happier that employee, this joy carries over in to his or her home life and out into the communities we live in.

 

This year in downtown Nashville, not only did we have our traditional slide show of pictures taken through out the year and our awards presentation but we also had a special treat.  Dustin put together Layne and Judy’s business timeline, with story and pictures. Hearing where they started and the path that brought us together was inspiring. This couple on a vision to help solve a problem for homeowners has not only created careers but also a very large family for the rest of us. 

 

After bellies were fed and formalities finished it was time for the after party. With a change of scenery and all work aside every one was able to play together; pool, table top shuffle board, basketball shoot out, and darts. Of course there was some friendly competition but all in love and fun.  It was a wonderful evening, a great way to close out 2016, and bring in 2017.
