Culture at a glance
Hello everybody!
This may come as a surprise to some people, but this is my FIRST blog ever! To get this out of the way, I am an “old school” girl, and I am embracing all the exciting new ways to communicate with everyone. Don’t worry, I will never lose my “old school” ways of communication (trust me, I can talk til the cows come home). So, as I am creating my masterpiece, our company mascot Jake (the sweetest Boxer ever) is walking around from office to office to get his morning hugs and treats. Yes, we are all big animal lovers/advocates here at Frontier Basement Systems. This brings me to the topic I wanted to talk about, “Everyone is welcome.” When I say everyone is welcome at Frontier Basement Systems, it’s true. Our owners, Judy and Layne Gebers, are honestly the most welcoming people I know. I remember my first day here, Layne walked into our training class, took a seat and blended in with all the “newbies.” When it was break time, I asked our Trainer, “who is that guy?” She said that’s one of our owners, Layne. To my surprise, I had been sitting by one of the “Big Bosses” and didn’t have a clue until that break. Wow, now that’s a boss I can relate to. No big “dog and pony show” to introduce the boss, he was simply someone sitting beside me in class. What I am getting to, is the fact that Layne and Judy, are real people, just like you and me. They have built an amazing company and have opened their hearts and minds to everyone that comes their way. For an “old school” girl like myself, working at Frontier Basement Systems has been the most rewarding work experience I’ve ever had. The excitement and the encouragement we receive on a daily basis, makes us all strive to be a better employee, a better friend and just an over all better person. So, if you are looking for a new career or if you need any of our many services, simply call Frontier Basement Systems! I hope you have enjoyed my first blog, I am looking forward to many more, and I welcome your comments and topic suggestions.
Here’s to a wonderful day
