3) Family Festivities
Haven’t heard of this event? Well, it can be held in your very own home! The best thing about the holidays is all of the time you get to spend with your family. There are tons of Christmas activity ideas roaming the internet, but here are a few picked by us! Let's start with sugar cookies. The entire process from start to finish is a fun one. You get to spend time baking, decorating, and then eating them! Next up is gingerbread houses, but not just regular gingerbread houses. To put a twist on the usual, you can buy mini wooden birdhouses and paint them like gingerbread houses. This leaves everyone with a trinket they can keep for years to come! If you want to get out of the house, this idea is for you- Thrift Store Secret Santa. The rules of normal secret santa apply, but this time..you can have a fun day out with your family and keep it cheap! The new objective is to find the best gift (for your randomly picked person) in a thrift store!
A plus about this event is everything is up to you from price to time of day, but one thing is VERY necessary... and that’s Christmas music MUST be playing while at your house or in a vehicle! Beyonce is great, but she has nothing on Jingle Bell Rock in December!
