Training Adventures
A couple of us started the eight hour journey on early Sunday morning heading to Charlotte, NC for some spirited and informative training in our fields. Our Marketing Director, Kaitlyn, and one of our Service Technicians, Doug, made the journey in our branded Ford Taurus. Flashy as the Taurus is, decked out in water splashes and waves, heads were turning the whole way. Just a few stops, one for the famous and oh so delicious Cracker Barrel. We then arrived and checked in to a very nice, Sheraton hotel near the airport. Training wasn't until the next morning so we headed out for some delicious Mexican food in town (with table side made guacamole no less).
The next morning there was a huge, delicious to boot, spread of breakfast foods and Starbucks coffee. Then the training began with a roundup of all the trainees and trainers. We got pumped up with a guest speaker and some awesome talks from some of Basement Systems' greatest. Afterwards we were off to our classes.
Doug participated in SaniDry training and said that he got some great information and seemed excited to get back home and share what he had learned. While Kaitlyn participated in the marketing training bringing home some great stuff to pass on to the company as well as all of our potential and existing customers. Frontier Basement Systems is excited to share our great products and solutions with everyone within our reach.
After two days, crammed full of new information and ideas, we set out on the journey home. Winding through the mountains at night sets the good drivers apart from the rest (that's for sure). After a smooth ride and a stop at Subway, we all made it home safely and geared up to get back in the swing of things.
Thanks to everyone at Basement Systems who made the training possible! They had a great time!
