Challenge

This homeowner was concerned with the amount of water retaining and collecting in the crawl spaces. The amount of water always increased after big rains. The homeowner didn't want mold to grow, or have the foundation have any damage or start to sink. After some research, this homeowner reached out to Frontier Basement Systems for an inspection. Our inspector Ben went to their home and listened to his needs and wants. Ben came up with a plan to give this homeowner a solution to the homeowner's problem.

Solution

Foreman Alex and Manuel and the crew installed the solution from Ben which included the SaniDry Crawlspace Air System, Insulate and Air Seal rim joist - spray foam, Delta Drainage Matting, LawnScape Outlet, CleanSpace Liner 20 mil, Classic SuperSump, and The Turtl Green door.

Frontier Basement Systems was able to provide a permanent solution for this family while also providing "WOW" customer service! The homeowner now will not have the constant worries of a wet crawl space when it is raining.

This cheap thin liner was not protecting this home. Water was even coming through the concrete blocks, bringing more moisture and humidity into the crawl space which invites mold to grow.

Stand still water will eventually evaporate, rise, and create condensation when it hits a cooler surface such as an air duct. Condensation and humidity will cause mold to grow on organic surfaces like a wooden foundation, causing much damage.

Now completely encapsulated, this crawl space is now dry, clean, and free of moisture and mold.
