Stair Step Cracks in the Block
The stair step cracks in the block wall show quite a bit of shifting has happened. Typically if a corner of a home is sinking, the separation will be larger towards the top of the stair step crack and tighter as it goes lower.

Looks like this wall had been painted however that does not do anything to support the bowing.

Horizontal cracks are signs of pressure from the other side of the wall. The cracks indicates the wall is failing to the weight.

Measuring the space of the cracks is a good way to bench mark changes and of course corrections.

This vertical crack continued to get worse and just gave the family more concern.
