Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Franklin, TN

A homeowner in Franklin, TN, reached out to Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to assess their crawl space. Following a thorough inspection, our system design specialist recommended a complete encapsulation. Upon arrival, our crew began by clearing debris from the crawl space. They then excavated a trench around its perimeter and installed EZ-Flow tubing, which connects to a sump pump system positioned at the lowest point of the crawl space. A drainage line was added to channel water away from the home. We then installed drainage matting over the dirt floor, followed by our CleanSpace vapor barrier. A thinner version of CleanSpace was applied to the walls and support columns. To ensure proper humidity control, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was also installed.
