Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Clarksville, TN
This homeowner in Clarksville, TN, reached out to Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to have their home's space evaluated. After checking the crawl space, our system design specialist recommended that the space be encapsulated. Once on site, our crew got to work. They removed the ineffective vapor barrier. Over the dirt floor, they rolled out dimpled drainage matting. Over this matting, the crew placed our CleanSpace vapor barrier to prevent water intrusion. Around the columns and along the walls, we applied "Wallie," a thinner version of our CleanSpace. To reduce humidity levels in the space, our crew installed our SaniDry Sedona crawl space dehumidifier. As a final touch, our crew replaced the crawl space entrance with our Turtl door system, which is recommended for below-grade entrances.
