Challenge

After 20 years living in the home, this family decided it was time to take back their basement and wanted to keep it dry in order to use it as a functional storage space. The challenge was that each time there was heavy rain, the basement would leak, bringing water in from everywhere and making clean up a major task.

Solution

The solution provided by Frontier Basement Systems was to install a TripleSafe sump pump system, complete with a UltraSump battery operated pump with automatic charger, with a 120 amp sealed, maintainence-free battery so the pump will remain functional even through power outtages. A double discharge line was installed and ran to the exterior of the property.

Both pumps have been installed on clean pump stands, inside a perforated, below-grade twin sump liner and will run off AC Power.

With as minimal disruption as possible the discharge line takes water away from the property.

The discharge line outside of the property has been fitted with IceGuard, protecting against freezing or blockage to the lines.

To disperse water at the end of the sump pump discharge line and downspout extension there is a LawnScape Outlet. Both aesthetically pleasing and functional to protect from debris.
