Wanted: Storage
When a basement floods there is no way to protect any of the stored items to ensure that they aren't damaged in some way. Furniture, documents, fabrics - they are all organic material and will not fare well from repeated or prolonged exposure to water.
Solution underway
You can see here that there has been a WaterGuard installed to collect water from the floor and walls and connects directly to the sump liner.
Immediate Results
With the floor returned to level and the sump liner's waterproof lid on tight there is an immediate reduction in standing water.
