Standing Water
You can see from just the excavated channel for the WaterGuard that there is a lot of water in the basement that has no where to go.
Lateral Lines
Lateral lines have been installed to help with alleviating hydrostatic pressure from water rising from beneath the concrete floor. It also makes it easier for water to flow from the far side of the house to the pump.
Interior Drainage System
This sub-floor drainage system, WaterGuard, is specially designed to remove water from a basement. Water collects behind the flange (which you can see along the edge of the wall) and is directed towards the sump liner.
Working with CleanSpace
With all seams sealed this 20 mil liner is working to prevent further water vapor from entering the basement through the bare earth. It also has a mold inhibitor woven into the liner so that its not providing an environment for mold to grow.
