Old Sump Pump
This older basement has an older pump system. An open liner or bucket with a sump sitting in it.
Drain hole in the Floor
It was once practice to put a drain in the floor of the basement so if a leak happened the water could easily drain there. However when the area takes on a tremendous amount of rain and the earth is saturated, that same hole allows water in to the basement.
Drainage System
A special drainage system, WaterGuard, sits along the footing to collect water and drain to the sump pump liner.
Water Management Systems
This water management system includes the TipleSafe Sump Pump with 2 cast iron Zoeller sump pumps and UltraSump with battery back up. This family is protected even if a pump fails or power is out. A SaniDry Dehumidifier keeps humidity down, take excess moisture out of the air and pumping in to the sump liner.
IceGuards
These outlets allow for water to be pumped out of the home even if the line is frozen, blocked, or damaged. Water will escape here instead backing up in the home.
Lawn Outlet
The discharge lines run under the surface to an well further away from the foundation. The well outlet sits flush with the surface so it does not get in the way of play or yard work.
