The perimeter of the basement was jackhammered to make space for the WaterGuard and TrenchDrain
Sump Pump and TrenchDrain Installed
Now that the WaterGuard, TrenchDrain, and TripleSafe Sump Pump are all cemented in.. they are ready to go! Notice that the TrenchDrain normally goes in front of large openings like doors to effectively capture the water coming through. A huge plus is that the TrenchDrain is made out of rugged reinforced plastic, so you won't have to worry about it cracking or denting.
IceGuard and LawnScape Outlet
The IceGuard is crucial if your location experiences colder weather, because it allows water to escape when the discharge line is frozen. It is also completely maintenance free! After rain water is captured in the basement the sump pump pumps it out.. and then what? It goes through the discharge line and disperses through the LawnScape Outlet (not pictured but conveniently green to match grass).
