Mold in the drywall
If drywall gets wet, over time it can grow mold. Mold in the basement can cause some of those odors that some associate with basements. It doesn't have to be this way.
Consistent Water Leaks

Water Stains
The dark stains on the foundation and wall show water leaks are very common in this basement.
CleanSpace and DryTrack
The CleanSpace Wall liner helps direct any wall seepage and leaks. DryTrack is a drainage channel sealed to the basement slab floor with a special epoxy adhesive and looks similar to a baseboard. The tilted top section allows wall seepage to flow down into the drainage channel.
Trench Drain
A trench drain is installed where the DryTrack does not make sense. The trench drain will catch any water that may leak in from the door.
Lateral Line
A lateral line under the floor will run the water form the trench drain to the sump pump.
