In case debris would get in the pipe system that lies underneath the concrete, we installed this access point in the corners to be able to easily get to the source of clogging and comfortable clean it.

We install outlets at least 10 feet away from the basement to ensure water doesn't flow back in the basement once its pumped out thanks to the sump pump.
