Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing in Antioch, TN

This customer in Antioch, TN called Frontier when he noticed water intrusion in his finished basement. For this project, we had to remove some drywall to dig the trench to install WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. Once the WaterGuard System was finished, we installed a TripleSafe sump Pump, Drainage lines, an IceGuard, and a LawnScape System. So any water in the basement will now be run through the WaterGuard System, to the sump pump and out of the drainage lines into the yard through the LawnScape, far away from the structure to avoid any water pooling outside the basement next to the foundation causing more damage. Now their basement is dry, healthy, and a usable space once more, and the cat approved.

Before Project Begins

Before work starts all items will be moved out, once completed this space will be usable again for storage and living space.

Moisture Issues in Basement

In this photo, you can see moisture issues are present on the bottom of the concrete block wall. Drilling holes to let the water in the concrete block to flow into the WaterGuard System that will be installed to mitigate this issue.

Obvious water intrusion on the floors of the finished part of the basement, as well as a very curious cat.

Holes Drilled and Sump Pump Installation Process

Holes are drilled in the concrete block to let the water flow down to the WaterGuard, into the simp pump that is being installed.

WaterGuard Installation

After holes are drilled in the block, trench is dug, the WaterGuard is added. Then its covered with clean gravel before it's cemented over. The water will flow through this system, into the sump pump, then out the drainage lines to the outside.
