More signs of moisture and water damage. Obvious mold growth is present and the concrete block is separating letting moisture out.
Interior Moisture Reading
The basement has a high moisture reading, which allows mold to grow.
Getting Ready to Install WaterGuard
The first step in the project is digging the trench out to place the WaterGuard and sump pump.
Weeping Holes
Weeping holes are drilled in the concrete block inside the trench. This allows water to seep down and out of these holes into the drainage system.
WaterGuard and CleanSpace
WaterGuard is installed surrounded with clean gravel and a sheet of CleanSpace liner. CleanSpace is also added to the wall for an extra layer of protection.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
The TripleSafe sump pump is installed in the lowest point of the basement where the water naturally flows.
SaniDry Sedona
The SaniDry Sedona is installed to pull any moisture out of the air.
Project Complete
A thin layer of cement is laid over the WaterGuard system, setting everything in place.
