Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing in Woodlawn, TN

This customer in Woodlawn, TN called Frontier to completely waterproof their basement after noticing moisture issues. To waterproof their basement we installed a WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system after drilling weeping holes in the concrete block walls and trench drains in high-traffic areas. We also installed a TripleSafe sump pump to pump water through the drainage lines and into the yard. To finish this project we added IceGuard and LawnScape system to move the water out to the yard away from the structure.

Basement Before Waterproofing

This photo shows that there are some wet spots from water seeping out of the concrete block walls onto the edges of the floor as well as the doorway where water is intruding.

Moisture and Mold Growth

The concrete block is showing signs of moisture and mold is starting to grow.

Water Intrusion

Obvious signs of water intrusion, mold growth is visible on the walls and door.

Weeping Holes

The weeping holes are drilled into the concrete block to let the water seep out into the WaterGuard system.

WaterGuard Installation

The WaterGuard system is being installed. It is placed in the trench dug with the weeping holes. After this part, it will be surrounded with clean gravel before being covered.
