Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing in Springfield, TN

This customer in Springfield, TN called Frontier to waterproof their basement and repair their crawlspace. To waterproof their basement we installed a WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system and trench drains in high-traffic areas. We also installed a TripleSafe sump pump to pump water through the drainage lines and into the yard. To finish this part of the project we added IceGuard and LawnScape system to move the water out to the yard away from the structure. To address the crawl space issues, we removed all the debris and installed Drainage matting, CleanSpace liner over the entire crawl space, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.

Installation Process

Installing the TripleSafe sump pump. It is placed in the lowest area in the basement where water will naturally flow.

WaterGuard

The WaterGuard system is installed, surrounded with gravel and then covered with a layer of CleaSpace before it is cemented in place.

Drainage Matting

Drainage matting is installed in the crawl space over the entire floor. This allows any groundwater to flow under it.

Debris Removal

All the debris removed from the crawl space including insulation that has collected moisture.

Moisture Issues

Moisture issues in the crawl space are apparent, the insulation is dripping from between the floor joists and most of it has fallen to the floor.

CleanSpace

CleanSpace liner is placed over the drainage matting in the crawl space. It covers the entire floor, walls, and is even wrapped around any crawl space supports.

SaniDry Sedona

The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier is installed in the crawl space to pull any excess moisture from the air.

IceGuard and LawnScape System

The IceGuard drainage system keeps water from freezing as it is pumped out of the basement. It then flows through the LawnScape system and the water is let out into the yard, far from the structure.
