Before Project Begins
Basement before any work begins.
Water Damage
Signs of water damage in the basement. You can see water has come in and left behind mold growth along the bottom of the wall. It has also created a rust color in the grout.
Excavation
An area is excavated around the perimeter wall to prepare for the WaterGuard to be placed.
TripleSafe Installation
The area has been excavated and the sump pump has been placed and assembled. Now the crew is getting ready to drill the weeping holes.
Weeping Holes
Weep holes are drilled at the bottom of the blocks to drain the hollow cavities.
CleanSpace® Wall System
Like our other wall systems, it can hold back water vapor passing through your foundation walls, directing it to your sump pump. With anti-microbial protection called UltraFresh built right in, no mold or mildew will grow on the CleanSpace!
WaterGuard®
WaterGuard® is being installed. This drainage system includes a wall flange with 3/8" opening to collect water from walls -- There's no gap on the basement floor to let humidity into the space or to collect debris.
WaterGuard Install Complete
The WaterGuard installation is complete and covered with a thin layer of cement.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
When you have a perimeter drainage system installed in your home, your sump pump is your main line of defense against a basement flood. If you can't count on your sump system to be powerful or reliable enough, then you can't count on a dry basement.
IceGuard® system
We install the patented IceGuard® system, an anti-freeze fitting that is installed outside of your home and ejects water away from the foundation in the event that the sump pump discharge lines freeze or become clogged.
