Water Damage
As you can see in this image the water has damaged the walls and flooring and mold has started to grow. Left untreated, this problem will just continue to get worse.
Bowing Walls
The water damage has cause this wall to start bowing. Once this starts, it will only get worse and eventually cause complete wall failure and structural issues.
TripleSafe Sump Pump and SaniDry Sedona
A TripleSafe® Sump Pump System (shown here), combined with a SaniDry® dehumidifier, represents the ultimate in basement waterproofing and humidity control.
Excavation for Sump Pump
A hole is excavated to place the sump pump. It is placed at the lowest point of the basement so all the water collected into the WaterGuard system will naturally flow to the pump and then be pumped out the the drainage lines.
Excavation for WaterGuard
An area around the perimeter of the basement wall is excavated in preparation to place the WaterGuard system. Once it it put in place it will be cover with CleanSpace liner and then a thin layer of cement.
Weep Holes Drilled
Weep holes are drilled at the bottom of the blocks to drain the hollow cavities.
WaterGuard System
The WaterGuard system Includes wall flange with 3/8" opening to collect water from walls, there's no gap on the basement floor to let humidity into the space or to collect debris. It will not clog with mud, the system sits on top of the footing, away from the "mud zone" underneath your floor. Water is collected without the risk of clogs that would halt your system. Unlike old-fashioned drain tile systems installed on the outside of the home, WaterGuard® is installed just underneath the perimeter edge of the basement floor.
CleanSpace® Wall System
Like our other wall systems, it can hold back water vapor passing through your foundation walls, directing it to your sump pump. With anti-microbial protection called UltraFresh built right in, no mold or mildew will grow on the CleanSpace! A thin layer of cement is also added over the WaterGuard to complete this project.
IceGuard® Discharge Line
Many sump pump discharge lines are susceptible to freezing during the cold winter months. Our IceGuard® discharge line protection prevents this from happening, with no need for the homeowner to do anything! This specifically designed grated adapter is located outside where the discharge line exits the house. If the pipe underground freezes in the winter, water can still be pumped out without the worry of backups into your basement!
