Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing in Woodlawn, TN

This customer in Woodlawn, TN, called Frontier for their basement waterproofing needs. To waterproof their basement, we installed a WaterGuard sub-floor drainage as well as a TripleSafe sump pump to pump water through the drainage lines. We also installed a Trench drain around the water heater system. We finished the project with an IceGuard to prevent floods from clogged or frozen discharge lines and a LawnScape system. Now, their basement is dry and clean.

Trench Dug

A trench is dug around the perimeter of the basement in preparation for the WaterGuard installation. We will remove all of this debris before the products are installed.

Weep Holes

Weep holes are drilled at the bottom of the blocks to drain the hollow cavities.

WaterGuard® Installed

Our most popular drainage system, WaterGuard® is the ideal solution for most basement waterproofing applications. Unlike old-fashioned drain tile systems installed on the outside of the home, WaterGuard® is installed just underneath the perimeter edge of the basement floor.

CleanSpace Liner

A layer of CleanSpace liner is laid over the newly installed WaterGuard before it's cemented into place.

TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System

Our most reliable sump pump system, the TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System, provides three levels of protection for your basement and your peace of mind. For normal functioning, the TripleSafe™ has a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level. For heavy volumes of water or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller® ½ hp pump set a bit higher in the liner will take over.

Trench Drain

A Trench drain is installed around the water heater since we cannot get behind it to install the WaterGuard system.

WaterGuard Installation Complete

After the WaterGuard and CleanSpace liner are installed, a layer of cement is added to ensure everything stays in place. The system is now fully installed.

IceGuard®

IceGuard® Discharge Line Protection: Many sump pump discharge lines are susceptible to freezing during the cold winter months. Our IceGuard® discharge line protection prevents this from happening, with no need for the homeowner to do anything! This specifically designed grated adapter is located outside where the discharge line exits the house. If the pipe underground freezes in the winter, water can still be pumped out without the worry of backups into your basement!

LawnScape™

LawnScape™ is a pipe buried from the downspout to a special LawnScape™ outlet that lets the water out onto the surface while camouflaging the end of the pipe. The lid comes off for easy cleaning. LawnScape™ is best used for downspout extensions over 8' long.

Project Complete

After the IceGuard and Lawnscape system is buried in the ground, the project is now complete. All of the products that have been installed will work together to keep this basement dry!
