Basement Before Project Begins
There are obvious signs of water damage in the basement. The water lines can be seen on the concrete block walls and the stairs.

The WaterGuard System
A trench is dug around the perimeter of the basement, then the WaterGuard is put into place and covered with CleanSpace liner.

WaterGuard Installation
Our most popular drainage system, WaterGuard® is the ideal solution for most basement waterproofing applications. Unlike old-fashioned drain tile systems installed on the outside of the home, WaterGuard® is installed just underneath the perimeter edge of the basement floor.

WaterGuard Specifications
The WaterGuard includes wall flange with 3/8" opening to collect water from walls. There's no gap on the basement floor to let humidity into the space or to collect debris. It is able to waterproof concrete block foundation walls. Weep holes are drilled at the bottom of the blocks to drain the hollow cavities. The system sits on top of the footing, away from the "mud zone" underneath your floor. Water is collected without the risk of clogs that would halt your system.

CleanSpace® Wall System
Like our other wall systems, it can hold back water vapor passing through your foundation walls, directing it to your sump pump. With anti-microbial protection called UltraFresh built right in, no mold or mildew will grow on the CleanSpace!

WaterGuard Installation Process Complete
After the WaterGuard is placed and the walls are sealed, a thin layer of cement is placed over the WaterGuard. Now the waterproofing of this basement is complete.

The SaniDry Sedona
The Sedona easily fits in small crawl spaces, yet has a powerful blower to effectively dry large crawl spaces. Mold and mildew are common in crawl spaces, but the Sedona keeps the relative humidity below 55%, so mold won't stand a chance. As a high-efficiency dehumidifier, the Sedona removes more moisture (100 pints per day) for less electricity cost than conventional models.

TripleSafe Sump Pump
Our most reliable sump pump system, the TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System, provides three levels of protection for your basement and your peace of mind. For normal functioning, the TripleSafe™ has a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level. For heavy volumes of water or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller® ½ hp pump set a bit higher in the liner will take over.

IceGuard and LawnScape System
Water escapes from the IceGuard® fitting only when the discharge line becomes clogged. Otherwise, water flows past the slotted openings into the drain pipe. LawnScape™ is a pipe buried from the downspout to a special LawnScape™ outlet that lets the water out onto the surface while camouflaging the end of the pipe. The lid comes off for easy cleaning. LawnScape™ is best used for downspout extensions over 8' long.

Project Complete
With the IceGuard and LawnScape now installed and buried, this waterproofing project is now complete.
