Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing in Clarksville, TN

This customer in Clarksville, TN, called Frontier for their basement waterproofing needs. To waterproof their basement, we installed a WaterGuard sub-floor drainage and a TripleSafe sump pump to pump water through the drainage lines. We also installed a Trench drain where vehicle and foot traffic enter. To replace the drywall that had to be removed, we installed our EverLast Wall panels, permanently repairing the drywall damaged by water & mold. We finished the project with an IceGuard to prevent floods from clogged or frozen discharge lines and a LawnScape system. Now, the basement is dry and clean.

Trench Dug

A trench is dug along the basement perimeter in preparation for installing the WaterGuard drainage system.

Drywall Removed

The moldy, water-damaged drywall has been removed. It will be replaced once the WaterGuard system is fully installed. For this project, we will be installing EverLast™ finished wall panels to replace the drywall.

Weep Holes and Trench Drain Excavation

Weep holes are drilled to let water seep out into the WaterGuard system. An area is also excavated in the doorway to place a Trench drain.

The WaterGuard has been installed, and a layer of CleanSpace is placed on top. The Trench drain is installed at the door opening. Trench drains are used in high-traffic areas like doorways.

For heavy volumes of water or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller® ½ hp pump set a bit higher in the liner will take over.

IceGuard and LawnScape

Water escapes from the IceGuard® fitting only when the discharge line becomes clogged. Otherwise, water flows past the slotted openings into the drain pipe. LawnScape™ is a pipe buried from the downspout to a special LawnScape™ outlet that lets the water out onto the surface while camouflaging the end of the pipe. The lid comes off for easy cleaning. LawnScape™ is best used for downspout extensions over 8' long.
