This crawl space in Bell Buckle, TN, was suffering from severe moisture damage with standing water found in certain parts of the space. This creates a humid environment that can lead to issues like mold growth and wood rot. Our crew assessed the space and quickly got to work removing the old, dirty vapor barrier. After removing the old barrier, our crew wrapped the CleanSpace vapor barrier around the concrete pillars supporting the crawl space. Next, the drainage matting, which helps with the flow of water if it gets trapped under the vapor barrier, was rolled out on the dirt floor. The crew then applied the CleanSpace vapor barrier to the walls and floors of the crawl space. For the excess humidity, we installed SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier; and, to prevent flooding, a TripleSafe sump pump system was also installed.
