Concrete Leveling Photo Album: Concrete Repair in Franklin, TN

The owner of this Franklin, TN home was unhappy with his sinking porch steps and uneven walkway. After his original appointment for a free estimate in late 2022, the homeowner called us to lift and level his home's concrete.    In the time from the original estimate in 2022 and the recent estimate in 2023 the porch steps continued to settle, causing larger cracks and further separation of the steps from the porch. Also in this time the walkway had become more uneven, creating a safety hazard for the homeowner and his friends and family. We used PolyLevel foam to lift the porch steps and level the home's concrete walkway. The PolyLevel foam expanded into any gaps where the soil that was supposed to be supporting the steps had washed away. PolyLevel is a fast-curing polyurethane foam that creates a stable, waterproof base for the porch steps to rest on. We also used PolyLevel to level the walkway by filling in any vacant space from washed away soil. PolyLevel will provide a permanent solution for the home's porch steps and walkway.  After applying PolyLevel, we filled any cracks that were created by the sinking concrete with waterproof, weather resistant NexusPro concrete sealant. This will prevent water from getting under the concrete and causing additional issues.    The homeowner is happy with the quality of work that was completed.
