Sinking Steps
As the front steps sink the gap will continue to get large, making that step taller.
Steps Pull Away
As the steps sink they also pull away from the brick.
Sinking Sidewalk
This section has sank almost a full inch. Leaves may be dangerous as they cover the unexpected lip. During cold weather this is a dangerous area for ice.
Trip Hazard
1/4" difference in a walking path is considered a trip hazard. Even at this difference the concrete could easily catch a toe and cause a fall.
Break in the Concrete
As this area of the concrete sinks it has broken the slab, the crack allows for water and debris to get between the concrete and create more damage.
