The homeowners were tired of seeing their home's value decrease right in front of their eyes, so they made the right move and called us, Frontier Foundation and Crawl Space Solutions, to come and inspect their home. These cracks don't seem like a very big problem, but they are sneaky! Rainwater seeps in and under the concrete slab, softening the soil under and causing the perfect place for the heavy slabs to sink and settle in at. We first had to lift the sunken concrete slabs, so they were all level with each other. They injected PolyLevel foam by boring small (penny sized) holes in the slab. After the void is filled, the expanding properties of the polyurethane foam allows for an accurate lift and leveling of the slab.Our crew then sealed all of the cracks with NexusPro Joint Sealant. NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks specially engineered to provide long-lasting flexibility and to stand up to harsh weather conditions. Unlike traditional polyurethane sealants, NexusPro resists UV rays, which means it won't crack, bubble or dry.

Cracks will only get worse with time. It is best to fix the problem as soon as possible, in order to not have to pay more in the end!
PolyLevel
After the void is filled, the expanding properties of the polyurethane foam allows for an accurate lift and leveling of the slab. Finally, the small holes are grouted and sealed, and the slab is completely restored.
Leveled Out
Once the slab is lifted back to the original position, we can work on sealing the crack for good.
