4.9 Finding the solutions.
Challenge
This home in Nashville Tennessee had many challenges. There were concerns with foundation settlement, wall repair, and the concrete was beginning to crack as well. The homeowner’s wanted to fix and create solutions for all of their problems and this is when they reached out to Frontier.
Solution
There were many elements that had to come together for this project to be a success. Smart Jacks were used to support the foundation settlement as well as wall repair. Smart Jacks are designed to stop settling and can raise your sagging floor back to the original position. As far as the concrete repair the concrete crack was also due to settlement and the crew installed a Push Pier to push the slab of concrete back to its original position. After the slab was returned to its original position the crack was sealed and smoothed over. The problems the homeowners were having with the water in their basement was fixed with Dry Trak and a TripleSafe sump pump. Dry Trak is designed to channel the water to the TripleSafe sump pump where the water is then taken away from the home creating a dry basement.
