Duct Work in the Crawl Space
The home's duct work runs through the crawl space. These ducts are effected by the temperatures and humidity under the home. The HVAC system must work much harder to push the conditioned air to opposite ends of the home. 50% of the air in the home above is from the crawl space.
Vapor Barrier Insulates the Walls
The vapor barrier insulates the walls as well as protects against moisture. A dimpled drainage matting below the vapor barrier on the ground will help ground water drain as well as protect the liner.
