Humid Space
Open vents allow outside air in to the home. Dirt and debris float in through the air and in with the HVAC duct work. Exposed earth allow for the ground water seepage.
Sump Pump Liner
A liner to collect water and house the sump pump system is installed in the lowest part of the crawl space floor.
Internal Parts Installed
After the sump pumps and Ultra Sump Pump are installed in the liner the air tight lid is secured. A drainage matting is laid down below the CleanSpace vapor barrier. The matting will allow for ground water to move and drain as necessary without pooling under the liner. The matting also acts as a cushion under the liner and helps protect the 20 mil plastic from wear and tear.
Crawl Space Door Upgrade
This Turtle provides much larger crawl space entry and will not mold, rust, or rot like the typical wood covering most homes are built with.
Sump Pump Liner
Installed and sealed, this system is ready for action. The 20mil, 7 layer thick, vapor barrier looks good and provides the protection needed from the environment outside.
Dehumidifier
The small but might Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier has no trouble controlling the humidity of this crawl space. Controlling the humidity makes a world of difference in the crawl space as well as the air quality in the living space above.
