Insulation Falling out
If you have insulation, make sure to keep it looking nice! Or else, it becomes a home for moisture and mold! This is hazardous to your home, because it sits next to your boards that are holding you up!
Moldy Wood Beams
Humidity level was above 70% in this crawl space and the wood sure is feeling it! Moldy wood is the cause of bouncy floors and no one wants that!
Standing Water
The combination of standing water and high humidity is a recipe for mold. Did you know that 60% of the air we breathe upstairs comes from the air in the crawl space?
Vapor Barrier
After we cleaned out the debris, our crew got to work on installing the CleanSpace Drainage Matting and CleanSpace Vapor Barrier. The matting creates a channel for the collected water to run through to the designated pump and the liner makes sure no moisture comes up through the dirt soil and into the crawl space air, which would create mold and foundation problems down the road.
SuperSump
The Supersump is a top-rated 1/3 HP Zoeller cast iron pump that offers reliability and high-volume pumping. AND it comes with a built-in alarm that alerts when water level rises too high.
LawnScape Outlet
The water has to go somewhere after it is collected, so we made sure to keep the water away from the house. It exits out of our LawnScape Outlet that is designed to blend in.. you can barely see it!
