Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Making changes!

These homeowners in Lewisburg Kentucky were suffering from excessive amounts of water in their crawl space. They contacted Frontier Basement Systems for a solution and a design specialist was sent to their home to address their concerns. Together with the homeowners it was decided that a full encapsulation with CleanSpace was the right solution for this home. The results? A dry crawl space and happy homeowners!

Drainage Matting

Drainage matting is put down after everything is cleaned out and leveled. Drainage matting is designed to allow water and moisture to flow freely underneath the vapor barrier without getting into the crawl space.

CleanSpace

CleanSpace is put down after the drainage matting and is sealed off. CleanSpace is a 20-mil thick vapor barrier designed to keep water and moisture out of a crawl space.

Drain line.

The drain line is one of the final steps and is designed to take all the water from the crawl space and direct it out and away from the home ensuring the water does not return.
