Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Tullahoma, TN
A homeowner located in Tullahoma, TN, reached out to Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to encapsulate their crawl space. Our team discovered an old, damaged vapor barrier and mold growing on the wooden pillars within the space. To enhance the drainage system of the crawl space, our crew rolled out drainage matting across the dirt floor to help with the flow of water out and away from the crawl space. After the drainage matting was installed, we wrapped a CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls, pillars, and floor of the crawl space to create a bright, clean environment. Additionally, we used SilverGlo insulated panels to close off the crawl space's vents and provide additional insulation. To prevent excessive humidity and mold growth, we installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier in the crawl space. To remove significant amounts of water, we also added a TripleSafe sump pump system, ensuring that the crawl space remains a healthy, dry environment for many years to come.
