Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Beechgrove, TN
This homeowner in Beechgrove, TN, contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to encapsulate and insulate their crawl space against the elements. This will not only keep their crawl space dry and temperature-regulated, but it will also help make the space more energy efficient. To start, our crew got to work removing the dirty, worn-out vapor barrier that was already inside the crawl space. After removing this old vapor barrier, we rolled out drainage matting across the dirt floor to help with the flow of water from the inside of the crawl space to the outside. Then, we applied both SilverGlo and TerraBlock insulated panels to prevent heat from escaping and cold from getting in. These panels will be extremely helpful in preventing the price of heating bills from skyrocketing in the winter. A CleanSpace vapor barrier was wrapped along the walls, columns, and floors to keep the space dry and clean. For extra moisture control, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed in the crawl space. This will help maintain humidity levels while also preventing mold from flourishing. Now, this homeowner has a clean, dry space that will keep their home healthy for years!
