This home in Clarksville, TN, suffered greatly from water damage in the crawl space, so they sought assistance from Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair. We found a damaged vapor barrier, fallen insulation, rotting wood, and mold inside the crawl space. Also, along the concrete perimeter, we saw signs that water had been in the crawl space recently. The first thing our crew did was remove the clutter, debris, and damaged vapor barrier. We then sealed the open crawl space vents with SilverGlo insulation panels for added protection from the elements. We placed drainage matting on the dirt floor and applied a CleanSpace vapor barrier to the walls, jacks, and floor. To reduce humidity and further control mold growth, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed, as well as a new TripleSafe sump pump system to remove large amounts of water.
