Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Cedar Hill, TN

This homeowner in Cedar Hill, TN, contacted us at Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to have their cramped crawl space encapsulated. Inside the crawl space, we found a dirty vapor barrier and moldy, damp insulation. We removed the old vapor barrier, insulation, and other debris from the space. Drainage matting, which helps guide water out of the crawl space, was placed on the dirt floor. Over this matting, we applied a CleanSpace vapor barrier. We also lined the walls and pillars with the same vapor barrier to create a brighter space where items can be stored. Over the crawl space's open vents, we applied SilverGlo insulation panels to provide 2 inches of protection from the external elements. To control the high humidity of the crawl space, we installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.
