Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Cedar Hill, TN
When this homeowner in Cedar Hill, TN, noticed the ill effects of having water in their crawl space, such as musty odors from standing water, they decided to contact Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair. Inside the crawl space, we found standing water around the perimeter. To combat this, we installed perimeter drains to guide the water to the sump pump system, which will pump the water out and away from the home. We removed all debris and fallen insulation and applied drainage matting to the dirt floor of the crawl space. Over the drainage matting, we applied our CleanSpace vapor barrier to brighten up the space. To combat high humidity levels, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed. Finally, we replaced the rusted metal crawl space door with our Everlast door which is comprised of inorganic materials, so it will not rust or rot.
