Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Huntsville, AL

This crawl space in Huntsville, AL, was cluttered and riddled with mold with standing puddles throughout the space. After evaluating the space, we decided to fully encapsulate the musty crawl space. First, we removed debris and the old, damaged vapor barrier. Once everything was cleared out, we laid out drainage matting across the dirt floor. On top of the drainage matting and along the walls and columns, we applied our CleanSpace vapor barrier. In the lowest part of the crawl space, we installed a TripleSafe sump pump system to remove large volumes of water that may work its way into the home's crawl space. Finally, we installed our SaniDry Sedona crawl space dehumidifier to keep humidity levels well below the levels where mold and wood rot can form in the space.
