Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Moulton, AL

This home in Moulton, AL, was in dire need of a crawl space encapsulation. When our technician entered the space, they discovered mold growth, rotting wood, and other signs that water had found its way into the crawl space. We started the encapsulation by removing the fallen and sagging insulation as well as any debris that may be strewn across the crawl space. Drainage matting was rolled out across the crawl space's dirt floor. On top of the drainage matting, we applied our bright CleanSpace vapor barrier. We also applied a thinner version to the walls of the crawl space. The open crawl space vents were sealed off and insulated by our SilverGlo insulation panels. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to maintain moisture levels in the space, preventing wood rot and mold growth. Finally, we installed our EverLast crawl space door, which is made of inorganic materials that will not be broken down by the elements.
