This home in Harvest, AL, had an unusually large crawl space that needed to be encapsulated, as the homeowner had been using the space for storage and wanted to keep their belongings dry. After our technician evaluated the space, our crew began working on encapsulating the space. First, we removed the old vapor barrier that was no longer protecting the space. We rolled out drainage matting across the crawl space's floor. Our 20-mil-thick CleanSpace vapor barrier was applied on top of the drainage matting. Along the walls and around columns, we applied a thinner version of our CleanSpace barrier. To control humidity levels in the crawl space, we installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.
