Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Nashville, TN

This homeowner in Nashville, TN, contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to have their crawl space encapsulated. Upon inspection, our design specialist discovered the crawl space was riddled with moisture issues, such as sagging insulation, wood rot, and standing water. After reporting these findings to the homeowner, they decided to have their crawl space encapsulated. When our crew arrived on site, they began removing the debris from the crawl space. Next, they rolled out drainage matting across the dirt floor. On top of the drainage matting, we applied our CleanSpace vapor barrier. Along the walls and around columns, we applied a thinner version of our CleanSpace. For the sump pump installation, we dug out a trench for drainage along the perimeter of the crawl space. We placed the sump pump in a low spot of the crawl space to allow water to easily flow inside. Out into the yard, we installed the sump pump's drainage pipe, which pushes water out and away from the crawl space.
