Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Gallatin, TN

This homeowner in Gallatin, TN, contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to have their home's crawl space evaluated. After inspecting the space, our system design specialist recommended encapsulating the crawl space. Once our production crew arrived on site, they began removing the old fiberglass insulation and vapor barrier. Next, they rolled drainage matting out across the dirt floor. On top of the drainage matting, we applied our 20-mil-thick CleanSpace vapor barrier. Along the walls and around the crawl space's columns, we applied a thinner version of our CleanSpace barrier. Any open crawl space vents were also sealed off with SilverGlo insulation panels. To control the high humidity levels in the crawl space, we installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.
