Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Nashville, TN

This homeowner in Nashville, TN, contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to have their home's crawl space encapsulated. Once inside the home's crawl space, the system design specialist discovered a muddy mess, with debris, standing water, and mold. After discussing the ill effects of an improperly encapsulated space with the homeowner, they decided to go with a new encapsulation. When our crew arrived at the job site, they removed the two ineffective barriers as well as other debris. They then rolled out our dimpled drainage matting to help facilitate the flow of water underneath the new vapor barrier. Our CleanSpace vapor barrier was applied over the matting, along the walls, and around the crawl space's columns. Along the perimeter of the crawl space, we installed EZ-Flow tubing to lead water to the lowest section of the crawl space. In this low spot, we dug out a pit to install our sump pump system. After the system was installed, the pit was filled with fresh gravel. The drainage line from the sump pump was run out into the yard and buried with the drain running flush with the ground. To control moisture levels in the space, our crew installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Now, the homeowner can rest easy, knowing they have a dry crawl space.
