Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Clarksville, TN

This customer in Clarksville, TN called Frontier due to moisture issues in their crawl space. To mitigate the moisture issues, we completed a crawl space encapsulation. To start the encapsulation we cleaned out all the debris and then buried EZ-Flow tubing into the ground. This tubing allows water to flow around the perimeter and into the lowest section of the crawl space, where the sump pump will be placed. Next, we installed Drainage matting, completely covered the crawl space in CleanSpace liner, added the TripleSafe sump pump, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and installed IceGuard and LawnScape System to drain all water into the yard away from the home.

Crawl Space Before Project

Obvious signs of moisture damage with the waterline on the concrete block and debris that has fallen from between the floor joists.

Crawl Space Debris

All this debris will be cleaned out of the crawl space before the project begins. That way we have a clean space to start work in.

Debris Removed

All the debris is removed and the project can start.

EZ Flo

EZ-Flow tubing is installed into the ground. This tubing allows water to flow around the perimeter and into the lowest section of the crawl space, where the sump pump will be placed.

Drainage Matting Installed

Drainage matting is installed over entire crawl space floor.

CleanSpace

CleanSpace is installed on the floors and walls over the drainage matting. Creating a protective barrier between the outside and then crawl space.

SaniDry

SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier is installed. This product will pull excess moisture from the air.

TripleSafe Sump Pump

The TripleSafe sump pump is installed at the lowest point in the crawl space and will pump any water out though the drainage lines.

IceGuard and LawnScape

IceGuard and LawnScape systems are installed. The IceGuard will prevent water from freezing when being pumped out. The LawnScape will let the water flow out into the yard far away from the structure.
