Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Gallatin, TN

This homeowner in Gallatin, TN, contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to have their very wet crawl space evaluated. Upon inspection, our system design specialist discovered a flooded crawl space. An encapsulation with the addition of a sump pump system was recommended. Once our crew arrived on site, they began removing the old vapor barrier as well as random debris that were inside the space. Drainage matting was then rolled out across the dirt floor. On top of this matting, we added our CleanSpace vapor barrier. Along the walls and around the columns, we applied a thinner version of our CleanSpace barrier. Our crew installed a sump pump system to prevent the crawl space from flooding. The drainage for the sump pump led out and away from the crawl space. We also installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to combat humidity.
