Checking Doorways
Checking levels of the door frames. When a crawl space has moisture issues, it can effect the support structures causing uneven door frames and windows.
Moisture Levels
Checking the level of moisture present in the wooden floor joists in the crawl space.
Moisture in Crawl Space
Checking the humidity level inside the crawl space. If there is his humidity, that indicates moisture is present which will allow mold to grow among other things that are damaging to your home.
Old Vapor Barrier
This old vapor barrier is not doing a good job at blocking any moisture from coming up through the floor. It will be removed before the project begins.
Moisture Weakening Crawl Space Walls
The crawl space walls have water lines due to moisture coming through and cracking, if left untreated this will soon become a structural issue leading to a much bigger project.
Crawl Space Vent
The crawl space vents will be sealed from the inside of the crawl space with SilverGlo panels to block any outside air from getting into the crawl space.
Drainage Matting
The debris has been removed and drainage matting has been installed on the floor. This matting will keep water from entering the crawl space through the ground.
CleanSpace Liner
Our CleanSpace liner is installed over the drainage matting on the floor, then wrapped around the crawl space supports and finally over the walls.
Project Completion
The mold has been treated, CleanSpace and drainage matting installed, vents sealed, and to finish the project a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier is installed to pull any moisture from the air.
