This customer in Clarksville, TN called Frontier due to cracking on the exterior of the home caused by the sinking of the structure due to settlement and moisture issues in their crawl space. To mitigate this issue we started with the structural repairs including installing Helical Piers to support the foundation using low-profile brackets to lift the foundation and prevent any further settling or cracking on the exterior walls. After that, we addressed the moisture issues by cleaning the debris from the crawl space and installing an EZ Flo and Drainage matting to control any water coming up through the ground. Once that was complete we installed CleanSpace liner throughout the entire crawl space, and a TripleSafe Sump Pump to pump water out, we finished the project with a new secure EverLast crawl space door.

Exterior Cracking

Settlement of the structure has caused cracking on the exterior wall. Left unchecked, the will continue to sink and crack further.

Helical pier Installation

Foundations will experience settlement issues when the soils below the house prove unable to support the weight of the structure. Helical pier systems create a solid supporting base that transfers the weight of your home downwards to strong supporting soils.

Before Crawl Space Encapsulation

Crawl space before project. There are obvious signs of moisture issues. The insulation is dripping from between the floor joists because it has collected so much moisture.

Drainage Matting

Once the EZ Flo is buried to divert any ground water the drainage matting installed across the entire crawl space floor.

TripleSafe Installation Process

The TripleSafe sump pump is being installed. It is placed in the lowest area of the crawl space, any water will naturally flow to this area and into the pump which will then pump it out of the crawl space through the drainage lines.

CleanSpace

CleanSpace is fully installed in the crawl space, on all floors and walls and any air leaks sealed. Effectively cutting the crawl space off from the outside. Now the crawl space space is clean and dry.

CleanSpace is wrapped around the structural piers inside the crawl space. Totally encapsulating the crawl space.

TripleSafe Sump Pump

The Triplesafe sump pump is fully installed. It will pump any water out through the drainage lines out to the yard into the LawnScape system.

Drainage Lines

The drainage lines are installed and the LawnScape system installed and buried. This is where any water pumped out will end up, far away from the structure, protecting it from water pooling and causing more damage.
