Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Clarksviile, TN

This customer in Clarksville, TN called Frontier due to moisture issues in their crawl space. To mitigate the moisture issues, we completed a crawl space encapsulation. We installed an EZ Flo, Drainage matting, completely covered the crawl space in CleanSpace liner, added a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and sealed off all air leaks and vents with SilverGlo panels and spray foam insulation and added a TripleSafe sump pump. We finished the project with a new EverLast crawl space door.

Water Issues

Moisture Readings

Taking moisture readings in the crawl space to get an accurate description of the issues going on in the crawl space.

Water Pooling

Water is pooling in the crawl space, this can cause may issues. This water will lead to mold, settlement of the structure, and unsafe air being pulled into the first floor of the home.

Debris Removal

All the debris we removed from the crawl space before we start the encapsulation.

EZ Flo

To start the encapsulation we cleaned out all the debris and then buried EZ-Flow tubing into the ground. This tubing allows water to flow around the perimeter and into the lowest section of the crawl space, where the sump pump will be placed.

Drainage Matting

Drainage matting is installed over the EZ Flo over the entire crawl space floor.

CleanSpace

CleanSpace is installed over the drainage matting over the entire crawl space. It is installed over the crawl space floors, on the walls, and wrapped around the crawl space piers.
