Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Nashville, TN
This homeowner in Nashville, TN, contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to have their home's crawl space evaluated. Once inside the space, our design specialist discovered a cluttered space with large puddles of water throughout. After seeing the state of the crawl space, our design specialist recommended that the crawl space should be encapsulated. Once our crew was on site, they removed debris and the older vapor barrier from the crawl space. Our unique drainage matting was rolled out across the crawl space's dirt floor. Our crew then applied our CleanSpace barrier on top of the matting, along the walls, and around columns. Any open crawl space vents were sealed off with SilverGlo insulation panels and spray foam. To further combat humidity, we installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep humidity levels from rising over 55 percent, where mold and wood rot can thrive. Now, this crawl space is protected against severe water intrusion.
